In honor of Girl in a Coma’s upcoming anything anything anniversary show on 11/9 at Crossroads in Garwood, NJ, here’s something from the vaults:
On July 10th 2010, while the anything anything radio show broadcasted on the now defunct WRXP-FM, I had the supreme pleasure to have Girl in a Coma join me in studio, you can listen or download their entire appearance below, including live in studio performances of “BB” and “Walking after Midnight”, plus i’ve also left the entire version of Los Spitfires “Ven Cerca” for your enjoyment. Since that appearance things have really kicked in for the Girls, their 2011 album “Exits and All the Rest” received tons of great reviews and was number 3 on my year end list of best albums of 2011 (see that list HERE), they have been headlining great rooms throughout the country and their cover of “Heatwave” is part of a national JC PENNEY ad campaign,
