That Lou Reed And Metallica Album Now Has A Title And Release Date

Lulu, released November 1st, is the forthcoming WTF collaboration between Lou Reed and Metallica.

Described by Lou Reed as:

…maybe the best thing done by anyone, ever. It could create another planetary system. I’m not joking, and I’m not being egotistical.

Hyperbole aside, this album has a lot to live up to. Two icons in their respective crowds colliding to flesh out songs Reed wrote for the play Lulu, an adaptation of stories from the German author Frank Wedekind.
