On 9/4 at Starland Ballroom, Social Distortion will help me celebrate my 6th anniversary on the radio! It’s an honor to not only have one of my favorite bands play but one that is so influential. Social Distortion has been kind enough to offer this special opportunity:

We will choose 2 random winners for this, each winner gets to bring a guest who gets to join for the soundcheck and meet and greet but only one prize pack per winner (so sort that out amongst yourselves)

We will do two separate contests for this, and since i’m on multiple radio stations across different time slots, i feel it’s unfair to try to do call ins etc, since there are less prizes than stations.
So for contest #1, it’s pretty simplistic, just email to Rich@richrusso.net, put SOCIAL D Soundcheck in the header, attach your ticket receipt, and through a random email address generator, one lucky email will be chosen and that’s the winner. Simple as that. ODDS of Winning are based on the number of emails received. You may only enter once, duplicate email addresses will be disqualified.
Perhaps those odds seem high? Here’s contest #2, which has some better odds, same prize, and you are able to be entered in both contests. This one however requires a pre-purchase of the limited edition silkscreened show poster, there will be 100 of these signed and numbered by artist Julie Finn, they will be sold for $15 each, and I will make no more than 50 available for this contest, meaning you have a 1 in 50 chance of winning, and no matter what you’ll have the poster in advance,and it will be rolled and tubed for you at the show to pick up. If you are interested in this opportunity, you need to send me an email at rich@richrusso.net put SOCIAL D POSTER in the header, attach your ticket receipt and you will be then notified on how to pay for the poster, the drawing will happen for this on September 1.
